It was a one-liner from founder Lisa Sexton’s boyfriend that inspired Bolt Beauty. He surprised her with a three week vacation (who said romance is dead) but stated in no uncertain terms that she could only take a carry-on suitcase (gulp). This inspired Lisa to create Bolt Beauty, a brand that truly limits waste. All the drops are biodegradable and made from seaweed, dissolving in water in just a couple of minutes. The packaging is based on a circular solution: you get one jar, use it for life and refill it. Just imagine how much plastic that eliminates.
