Invisibobble inventor, Sophie Trelles-Tvede, was an 18-year-old university student when she first came up with the idea. It actually happened during a dorm party during which she used a phone box cable to tie up her hair for a more 1960’s vibe (the theme of the party). Realising once she removed it that not only had it not slipped but her hair was totally kink-free she quickly approached her friend, Felix Haffa, and with their combined savings of $4,000 they launched Invisibobble.
