Husband and wife duo Louise and Daniel recognised that women and men have some differences when it comes to their skin. However, they believe self-care should be genderless and figured they could simplify the whole process. Louise and Daniel found that men, for example, tend to have oilier skin and thicker hair follicles than women, and men's skin is also around 25% thicker due to androgen stimulation – much to the envy of women everywhere! But this doesn’t mean that products need to be designed specifically for men's skin. After only a few years the couple had crafted a 4-step regime that focuses on skin type rather than gender. “We studied natural organic skin formulation and advanced skin science at night to learn how to create skincare products that we could both use and It just became a hobby!” they said.

Some might like to follow a structured multi-step routine, others may want to pick and choose different products on different days for different activities. “My husband might use the cleansing balm on his cheeks before a run for a bit of environmental protection,” explains Louise, “and sometimes he will just use the serum at night rather than the moisturiser”. It’s safe to say their side hustle turned into big business and sharing really is caring here.
