Creator Tim Binnington has an impressive 30-year career in the hair industry, owning one of the UK’s largest hairdressing chains. He used that very career to create arguably one of the most thoughtful products in the world – no, really. Manta may seem like just another hairbrush but it is in actual fact the very definition of a labour of love. Tim’s wife lost her hair during an almighty battle with cancer, during which she wanted a hairbrush that was gentle on her precious new hair when it started to grow back. “Watching her, I knew I wanted to help and make a brush that would be as gentle as running your fingers through your hair – so Manta was born” said Tim.
