Shhhowercap came into being when founder Jacquelyn DeJesu realised that not only were most shower caps undeniably un-chic, but they also had a tendency to fail due to their cheap plastic fabrication. So, she made one that did both… Jacquelyn became so invested at one point that she jokes her friends stopped talking to her because she lived and breathed her research; “My life was one big focus group” she explains. “Chances are if you met me during those development years, I’d open our conversation with ‘Random question; Do you wash your hair every day?’” Thankfully, she never stopped asking questions, and we finally have a functional (and fashionable) shower cap on the market.
