We’ve been through it – all of us. 2020 opened old wounds and created new ones with newfound feelings of anxiety in the height of a worldwide pandemic. What a fine ‘how do you do’ that was! Meanwhile, apps are not a replacement for treatment or human support, they are however, excellent tools for organising your thoughts, following a guided meditation and recentring your focus. Take a deep breath and recharge with these apps:

1. 10% Happier

An app designed for those intimated by and unsure as how to meditate, 10% Happier is great for beginners. It connects you directly with expert teachers who can coach you through the basics of meditation.

2. Simple Habit

If you find yourself saying, “I don’t have time to meditate” – this is the app for you. Dedicate five minutes of your day with on-the-go meditations and you’re sure to quickly discover the benefits of tuning out of the noise and tuning into yourself. Stuck at a traffic light? Held up in a line at your favourite coffee shop? Introduce Simple Habit one mundane task at a time and watch your day turn around.

3. SAM (Self-Help for Anxiety Management)
