How can we take better care of it? How can we reverse our damage? And how can we be better humans? These are the questions that drive us at Project bYouty not only on Earth Day, but every day. It’s the very foundation we’re built on.
From the moment your Project bYouty journey begins, you’ll see that we do things differently. Firstly, our sustainable, clean, vegan and organic offering is the largest in the region. Whether it’s earth-friendly period products (hello, life-saving period cup) or LastObject’s reusable tissues and cotton buds, we only support and stock brands that are actively making the world a better place.
Take Rahua as an example. Herein lies a results-driven hair range that prioritises smoothing split ends alongside being 100% carbon negative and preserving over 95,000 acres of pristine, biodiverse Amazonian tribal land. We call that balance. Or Syrene Skincare, who case their marine-sourced formulas in reused ocean waste plastic. We make conscious choices, so in turn you can too.
Then comes our packaging. You’ll only ever receive your products in an entirely recyclable box, acid free compostable tissue paper and where we have to print or stick something - that too is water-based. That means less waste in landfills and a healthier ecosystem for all - hurrah.
It doesn’t stop there. To really make a difference, we’ve partnered with Tropical Forest Alliance on their Forest Positive Future initiative which reverses tree loss. Planting trees across South America, Africa, Indonesia and beyond, these heroes are literally pumping oxygen back into our ecosystem.
Lastly, did we mention we’re 100% cruelty-free? We probably did because we’re pretty proud of it. We don’t sell any products that test on Mother Nature’s creatures, because honestly, why would you?
We’re not bragging, we’ve still got a long way to go, but we can honestly say we’re trying our absolute best for more than one day of the year. How about you?
